1.1) I found interesting the idea of making lifelong learning such a large focus. Everyone learns throughout their life, whether they like it or not or realize that they are learning anything. People learn a new technique to make their job easier or they learn that they do not like a certain food after they have tried it for the first time. In the definition for lifelong learning it says that the goal is to make learning more meaningful and add to the growth of the individual. If the whatever being learned is not meaningful to the individual, they aren’t really going to learn it. They may remember it for a time, say for the test, but they will forget it if they don’t really care about it. I guess that I just find it interesting that the article promotes lifelong learning which is going to occur naturally anyway.
1.2) I didn't find anything very uninteresting.
2) The main message of the article seems to be that the current state of education is lacking and needs to be changed to encourage people to continue learning on their own and not just learn what they are forced to learn in school or in the work place.
3.1) It is a useful feature because it allows someone to find a glossary definition for a term that they may not know in a quick and easy way to access it. It encourages the reader to actually read the definition if they do not already know it instead of just ignoring the word or trying to make a guess on what is meant by context because they do not want to take the time to search for it on their own.
3.2) I have built similar features in notes I have taken for certain classes to help make my understanding of the material more useful. I have seen similar features on medical websites that use a lot of medicinal jargon to define certain terms.
4.1) I have studied a little about B.F. Skinner in psychology.
4.2.1) Skinner was a behavior psychologist. He believed that learning was the result of a response from some stimulus. If the response was good for the stimulus a reward could be given to reinforce the response. In this regard, the response would be repeated when presented with the same stimulus so the subject would obtain the reward. For example, a student is told they will be given a test the next day (stimulus). The student goes home and studies for the test (response). The day after the test, they receive a good grade, they are happy about the good grade, and gets praised by their parents (reward). The next time the teach gives a test, the student will study to get a good grade and praise from their parents.

This website describes the Social Learning Theory of Albert Bandura. It is interesting and relevant because it is an explanation of how people learn from other people. It is an explanation of why collaboration is important. People can learn from how people react in a certain situation to see how they should act. Someone can learn by watching someone else do what they want to do. A person could ask someone how to do something and be told the proper way to go about accomplishing it.
