Reflections on the Class
Question related to Eric's talk:
We briefly talked about patents and copyright work in class. I was wondering, when a researcher (or a PhD student) at a company does some interesting novel work and applies for a patent, is that in the individual's name or in the company's name (since we said the work "belongs" to the company) or is it a jointly-held patent?
Question about class material in general:
What are some of the other projects that people at L3D are working on that involve collaboration with another university or another lab? I've only heard about the work that is currently being done internally here at CU. It would be interesting to hear of some collaborative projects being done too!
